Middle East Tensions Escalating - India calls for restraint, civilian protection

India called for moderation from all sides on wednesday and expressed its great worry over the recent escalation in the Middle east caused by Iran's missile launches on Israel. It also stated that the war should not spread throughout the region.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) emphadata-sized in a statement that "dialogue and diplomacy" should be used as a means of resolving any conflicts.

"We express our profound worry about the worsening security situation in West Asia and we urge everyone to exercise caution and ensure the safety of people. The MEA stated in a statement that "it is crucial that the conflict avoid taking on a larger regional dimension and we urge that all issues be addressed through dialogue and diplomacy."
India made its remarks one day after iran launched over 180 ballistic missiles at israel in a historically large-scale strike. israel was rocked by explosions and alarms, and both Jerusalem and the jordan River valley were affected. During live broadcasts, state television reporters laid down on the ground while Israelis crammed themselves into bomb shelters.
Ninety percent of the hypersonic Fattah missiles that were fired, according to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, found their targets in Israel. This was the first usage of these missiles.
