After a day of Iranian strikes on Israel, Democrat Tim Walz and Republican JD Vance began their much-awaited debate on vice presidential candidates. It was the last one held before the US election on november 5. The topic of discussion was the Middle east war. The candidates presented starkly different points of view throughout the debate, which took place at the CBS Broadcast Centre in New York City and addressed important subjects including immigration, climate change, the economy, and foreign policy.
By referring to iran as "an 80-year-old donald trump talking about crowd data-sizes," Walz reframed the subject. He emphadata-sized "Israel's ability to defend itself," denouncing Republican front-runner donald trump and asserting that Trump's "fickle leadership" had brought iran one step closer to obtaining a nuclear bomb. Vance retaliated, complimenting trump on "delivering stability" globally via a deterrent strategy.
"My farmers know climate change is real," Walz said in response to Donald Trump's assertion that it is "a hoax." In response, Vice President Kamala harris stated that if she "really believed that climate change is serious, what they would be doing is more manufacturing and more energy production in the united states of America." Vance deliberately sidestepped this subject.
As the leaders discussed immigration, the conversation became heated. JD Vance asserted, "We've got 20–25 million illegal aliens who are here in the country." "The people that I'm most worried about in Springfield, Ohio are the American citizens who have had their lives destroyed by Kamala Harris's open data-border," Vance asserts. "It is a disgrace."
In retaliation, Walz charged that Vance and trump had dehumanized the lawful immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, Vance's home state. He said that by not trying to fix the problem, people would be able to "come together," but instead of doing so, he demonized it.
As a former high school teacher and liberal governor of Minnesota, Walz, 60, has devoted a large portion of his professional life to progressive ideas, public service, and education. He will data-face Ohioan JD Vance, a 40-year-old bestselling novelist and political novice.
Sen. JD Vance is a devout conservative who has drawn notice around the country for his strong opinions and venomous speech. Although both men are from the Midwest and will probably highlight their local ties, their political ideologies and opinions on policy diverge greatly.
The ninety-minute debate began at nine o'clock Eastern Time (6.30 a.m. IST) and is predicted to get heated as it goes on since both candidates have made contentious remarks in the past and will have to defend their positions on important national issues.
