Chiranjeevi Honoured with Outstanding Achievement Award at IIFA Abu Dhabi
The 24th IIFA festival presented the Outstanding Achievement for indian Cinema Award to tollywood icon chiranjeevi at a lavish event held at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Renowned lyricist javed akhtar and veteran bollywood actress shabana azmi gave the award to the legendary actor. chiranjeevi, overcome with emotion, thanked his fans and the telugu cinema industry for their steadfast support as he spoke to the crowded crowd.
"This award is a testimonial to the love and support I have gotten from my fans, as well as an acknowledgment of my efforts. He was met with a standing ovation and deafening applause as he added, "I am forever indebted to them." A galaxy of stars from the indian cinema industry, including Nasser, Bramhanandam, Priyadarshan, Priyamani, Jayaraman, Sarathkumar, Radhika, Varalaxmi, and karan johar, convened for the event, which was hosted by tollywood actors rana daggubati and teja Sajja.
The accolade chiranjeevi received is a worthy homage to his outstanding contribution to the entertainment industry. The three-day IIFA festival honours the finest in indian film. chiranjeevi who was sick earlier is now seen healthy and was energetic as always. He never felt dull while receiveing the award.
