With its re-release opening day generating three times more than its first earnings, Tumbbad shattered its own records. The horror-fantasy helmed by Rahi Anil Barve made a total of 7 crore last weekend, with sunday seeing the biggest day of box office receipts.
The Buckingham Murders, directed by Hansal Mehta, on the other hand, has already drawn a lot of criticism for plagiarizing an American television series.
