The audio launch of superstar Rajinikanth starrer 'Vettaiyan' caused a stir due to the controversy over the distribution of fake tickets. Today, the music release ceremony of the film 'Vettaiyan' was scheduled to be held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. With an expected attendance of around 1000 to 1500, tickets were printed and sold.
But unexpectedly, the number of fans thronging the Nehru Stadium is said to be more than the tickets allotted. This increased the crowding. Even though more than 500 people had tickets in their hands, the police stopped them from entering and there was a commotion. Many people were outraged by the fact that fans from various states including andhra pradesh, Karnataka, and andhra pradesh were not only eager to see Rajinikanth and the actors and actresses who played in the film. Due to this, some people got into an argument with the police there.
It is said that when the police approached the film production company while the fans were standing by, the theater was completely full and no one should be allowed inside. Therefore, the police announced through loudspeakers that the fans should disperse quietly. A few were forcibly evicted.
