On abortions, Donald Trump flip-flops, advantage Kamala Harris
Both candidates' microphones seemed to be unmuted during the heated debate on abortion, allowing the public to hear them talk alternately.
Harris criticized "Trump abortion bans" during her defense of reproductive rights. The Democratic front-runner for president declared that rape and incest were not exempt from Trump's abortion restrictions, branding them as "immoral".
The Indian-American also emphadata-sized that, should she be elected US president, she would "proudly" sign a measure into law restoring Roe vs. Wade.
"I think the American people believe that certain freedoms -- in particular the freedom to make decisions about one's own body -- should not be made by the government," the Vice President added. In response, trump stated that newborns were being slaughtered in certain places. "There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it is born," the moderator shot back.
