Existing homes on lake beds in Hyderabad will NOT be demolished - HYDRA
Following many days of uncertainty over the agency's jurisdiction, HYDRA commissioner AV ranganath emphadata-sized, that habitations, homes, and existing structures in buffer zones or at lake-full tank levels that are occupied by people will not be demolished.

At least fifty acres that were encroached upon have been successfully reclaimed by the state government. No residence that is occupied by a person has been demolished, according to Ranganath. He continued by saying that work is still ongoing on the seven villas that were demolished in Mallampeta Cheruvu in Dundigal and that they are in the FTL without the necessary building construction permits.
The HYDRA commissioner stated, "The builder is one Vijay lakshmi (referred to as lady Don locally), who has numerous criminal cases filed against her and connections to local political leaders." In the local police stations, criminal proceedings have been filed against builder Vijay lakshmi and former mla Panyam Katasani ram Bhoopal Reddy.
According to the commissioner, anyone buying homes who are unsure about FTL or buffer zones should contact HYDRA or visit the hmda lakes website.
