Vijay's GOAT movie in Telugu is disastrous..!? Why?
Actor Vijay's Goat movie released in tamil Nadu has become a flop in Telugu. GOAT is a grand film starring actor Vijay. Directed by venkat Prabhu, the film is produced by AGS. Made on a budget of around 400 crores, the music has been composed by Yuvan shankar Raja. GOAT was dubbed not only in tamil but also in telugu and hindi and released as a Pan-Indian film. The GOAT movie is getting a great response in tamil Nadu. The movie stars Vijay along with Meenakshi Chelatri, Sneha, Laila, Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Mike Mohan, Vaibhav, Premji, Ajmal, and Jayaram. Apart from that, actress trisha and actor Sivakarthikeyan have also added strength to the film by acting in cameo roles. In particular, actress trisha, along with Vijay, has taken a stab at the Mata song, which has greatly impressed the fans. GOAT is also doing well at the box office. The film collected more than Rs 200 crore in the first three days. In tamil Nadu alone, the film has collected more than Rs.100 crores and is a mass hit. Apart from that, the film is also getting good response abroad. According to reports, GOAT has collected more than Rs.100 crores in foreign countries as well.
Heavy rains in andhra pradesh for the past few days are said to be a major reason for the decline in collections. Apart from that, venkat Prabhu's last film Custody in telugu was a flop. The result of that film is also likely to be a reason. Meanwhile, director venkat Prabhu, who recently interacted with the fans on X site, has dropped a bombshell that the film may not have reached the telugu audience because of the scenes of the chennai Super Kings in GOAT. It is noteworthy that Vijay's last movie Leo in telugu collected more than Rs.50 crores.
