Malayalam Actor vinayakan Arrested at hyderabad airport for Misconduct
Malayalam actor vinayakan has been arrested at shamshabad airport in Hyderabad. The actor, known for his role as a villain in Rajinikanth’s film Jailer, was traveling on an indigo flight from kochi to hyderabad with a final destination of Goa. Allegedly under the influence of alcohol, vinayakan reportedly exhibited disruptive behavior towards fellow passengers. Complaints from passengers led to intervention by CISF officials, who took him into custody.
The actor was subsequently handed over to airport police, who have registered a case and are conducting an investigation. Online videos show vinayakan seated on the floor, shirtless, and shouting at staff members, which contributed to his detention at the airport. Balraj, the Circle Inspector of the airport police station, confirmed that “a case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.”
This incident is not Vinayakan’s first brush with controversy. In october 2023, he was arrested for creating a disturbance at a local police station in Ernakulam, kerala, where he was reported to have caused problems for his apartment neighbors. Additionally, he data-faced backlash for insensitive remarks regarding the death of former kerala Chief minister Oommen Chandy and controversial comments about the metoo movement in 2022.
Vinayakan, who has appeared in numerous tamil and malayalam films, is set to feature in upcoming projects such as dhruva Natchathiram in tamil and Thekku Vadakku and Karinthandan in Malayalam.
