Vaibhav said in a recent interview that Thalapathy Vijay preferred to watch Salaar at a hyderabad single-screen theater—and that too in the front row. When Vaibhav and Vijay arrived at the theater with their Salaar tickets, he discovered that they were actually second-class. Vijay urged him not to inquire about the tickets with the theater management, even if he wanted to.
