We've all seen the indian version of Forrest Gump, Laal Singh Chaddha, bomb at the box office and receive negative reviews. Film critics offered several justifications for the same, sparking intense discussion on social media. But imagine the humility required to accept that when the lead actor assumes full responsibility! Yes, Bollywood's perfectionist Amir Khan recently admitted that his performance in Laal Singh Chaddha fell short of expectations, which prevented the picture from connecting with audiences.
He astonished people by sharing his feelings in an open interview. Typically, performers try to absolve themselves of any culpability by attributing the failure of a film on unrelated events. It takes guts to acknowledge a movie's failure since it calls into question one's trustworthiness. However, Amir Khan is prepared to improve on his faults and is not scared to data-face the music. As opposed to other celebrities who consistently release four or five films annually, Amir Khan would want to concentrate on a single project.
He also mentioned that he plans to create four to five films a year with new talent in order to make way for the newcomers. At the moment, aamir khan is concentrating on Sitaare Zameen Par, his upcoming film. It will be a follow-up to Taare Zameen Par and a tale of valuing individuality. All we can hope is that the movie wins over his supporters and that his realization comes to pass. However, only time will tell!
