Sajid Tarar, a prominent American businessman of Pakistani origin, has praised prime minister Narendra Modi. Sajid Tarar has said that india has performed very well under the leadership of prime minister Narendra Modi and pakistan needs a leader like him. Tarar, who lives in Baltimore, America, told news agency PTI, 'Modi's slogan of nationalism has worked well for indians living in india and indians living in America, where they are in top positions in important sectors.' Tarar, a republican party leader and founder of 'American Muslims for Donald Trump', a supporter of former President donald trump, said that india has progressed under the leadership of Modi and if a leader like him emerges, it will help Pakistan. Tarar said that the rise of any nation is reflected by its ability to lobby in the corridors of power in Washington and the increase in the number of indian technology entrepreneurs has strengthened its diaspora community.
'Pakistan should learn'
Sajid Tarar said, 'Pakistan should learn from this example and focus more on education. India's first education minister Maulana Abul Kalam azad and first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru's dream of an emerging nation with institutions like IITs and IIMs has benefited the country in the long term. This happens when you invest in education keeping the long-term future in mind.'
Tarar had moved to America
Tarar had moved to America in the 1990s and has good relations with the ruling Pakistani establishment. On Trump's candidature for the presidential election, Tarar said that his return to power will take America back on the path to greatness. He said, 'Trump made money before coming into politics and now he is worried about making America great again. This is not the case with the political leaders of the Democratic Party.' Tarar also said Trump's (78) return to the presidency would be a challenge for china as the former president would challenge Beijing's policies in various areas. He also said trump is not against immigration but does not agree with the way the US government is handling the issue.
