His magazine, *Stardust*, gained fame for its sensational coverage of Bollywood, revealing controversies and gossip about celebrities. This often led to legal issues, with defamation suits from prominent figures like amitabh bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and salman khan, and accusations of privacy invasion.
Despite facing criticism for its gossip-centric content, *Stardust* had a notable influence on indian popular culture, earning Hira the title of the ‘King of indian Magazines.’ He was also recognized with several awards for his contributions to publishing, including the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the indian Magazine Congress.
