Vikram's Effort Goes in Vain Once Again

G GOWTHAM
Vikram plays the protagonist in Thangalaan well. He plays the role that is physically apparent. The actor's performance and the character's direction are both demonstrated via the actor's slight elevation and raw body language. For Vikram, it represents yet another chapter in his lengthy and remarkable career.

Although she portrays a clichéd character with a typical character arc, parvathy thiruvothu is equally excellent. under the second part, she and vikram keep the emotions under check. The remaining members of the cast also do well in their little but important roles. Everyone in the group that originally accompanies vikram on the gold quest is good.

When the proceedings go to the site of the mining, the larger issue becomes apparent. The narrative stalls, and the tension inside the tribe intensifies until the very end. Though the drama intensifies, the proceedings are stifled by the confinement to one place. The biggest problem with Thangalaan is the mythological nature of the tribes and how convincingly it is mixed with the main story. In general, we are aware of the hardships data-faced by the locals, but the situation is different in the goldfield. The feelings seem forced and exaggerated. We become irritated by actions that are repetitious.
