Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mewat, patna, dhanbad and the famous Jamtara have targeted the people of indore and their number is increasing. In most of the cases, the victims get calls from Pakistani mobile numbers generated from the Internet. This information came to light during the investigation of the complaints lodged in the last two months since the establishment of the Cyber Desk of Zone-1 on May 25. Additional DCP Zone-1 Alok Kumar Sharma said, we get one to two complaints daily. A total of 53 complaints were received in june and July, in which 7 FIRs were registered and one accused was arrested. During the investigation of several cases, it was found that cyber criminals in Mewat (covering Nuh, Alwar and Bharatpur), Jamtara, data-border towns of Bangladesh, Hyderabad, Bangalore, dhanbad and patna are targeting innocent people in our city.

More than Rs 22 lakh have been frozen
The Additional DCP said that we have managed to recover more than three lakh rupees and have frozen more than Rs 22 lakh in the accounts of the fraudsters or their associates. If we get complaints during the golden hours, we can increase our recovery rate, as most people report after a few days, which gives the fraudsters time to transfer and withdraw money.
