90% of the telangana Southern Power Distribution firm Ltd.'s (TGSPDCL) 11 KV feeder integrated survey throughout the towns and cities under its authority has been finished, the power supply firm reports. Ninety percent of the 3,380 11 KV feeders in 44 towns in the former districts of Greater hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medak, Mahabubnagar, and nalgonda have had their surveys done.

The company's TGSPDCL GIS asset inspection maintenance system (TGAIMS) application contains every aspect of the survey. Sub-stations, pole locations, distribution, transformer structures, ring main units, auto-reclosure, line ap switches, and GIS mapping are among the details. The GIS mapping in the application has captured the coordinates of the electric lanes, the distance between the poles, the DTR structure, and pole condition (cement, iron, or railway track).

The TGSSPDCL stated in a news release that all of the company's infrastructure data was captured in the app.

The chairman and MD of TGSPDCL, musharraf Faruqui, claims that the company's officials will now receive precise estimates of section-by-section works and repairs, which facilitates operations. Additionally, because ground-level transparency is upheld, consumers will receive high-quality electricity, which will ultimately lead to the company's growth.

On Friday, TGSPDCL authorities tested the app under the hyderabad South Circle, which includes the Charminar, gulzar House, Pather Ghati, and Cyber City Circle, which includes the Cable Bridge and the campus of Dr. Ambedkar Open University.
