For 1.5 km, kaveri Nakhwa dragged.

On July 7, early in the morning, in the Worli neighborhood of south central Mumbai, a two-wheeler was accused of being struck from behind by the bmw driven by Mihir Shah. The 45-year-old passenger kaveri Nakhwa perished in this collision; her husband Pradeep Nakhwa, on the other hand, managed to escape unharmed. According to the mumbai police, Mihir Shah pulled over the fast car after it had dragged kaveri Nakhwa for around 1.5 km, switched seats with his driver, Rajrishi Bidawat, and fled in another vehicle.

The police said that Mihir Shah left his car and driver behind in the Kala nagar region and escaped the scene in an auto rickshaw. Then he arrived at his female friend's suburban Goregaon home. According to PTI, his companion got in touch with Mihir Shah's sister, who came to Goregaon and picked him and his friend up at her Borivali home. The Shah family then made the decision to escape, driving an audi to a resort in Shahapur, thane district. The resort also accommodated two friends, Kinjal and pooja Shah, and Mihir Shah's mother Meena.

The mumbai police located Mihir Shah's companion after discovering who he was, however the officer stated that the friend had also turned off his cell phone. Late on the evening of July 8, Mihir Shah and his friend left the Shahapur resort and landed in Virar. The police tracked down Mihir Shah, who had left the scene after allegedly running over a woman with his luxury car on sunday, thanks to the cell phone of a friend of one of the main suspects in the mumbai bmw hit-and-run case. According to sources, the accused, his mother, and his sisters had turned off their cell phones, which is why it took the mumbai police three days to apprehend them.
