Telangana Hyderabad - Officials told to step up processing of Prajavani applications

On Monday, July 8, during a public gathering at the ghmc headquarters, nalini Padmavathi Satyanarayana and Additional Commissioner Srivatsava spoke to citizens' complaints and urged the authorities to expedite the processing of appeals filed through Prajavani.
 
Thirty petitions were received at the public hearing, mostly related to town planning (15), transport (1), revenue (5), repairs (2), FA (2), elections (2), administration (2), and the Lakes Department (1). Six ghmc zones (Charminar (4), secunderabad (18), kukatpally (61), Serilingampally (51), Khairatabad (1), and LB nagar (12) got a total of 147 applications. Nine phone-in requests, including drainage and municipal planning, were quickly passed to the appropriate offices for action.
 

On tuesday, July 2, at mahatma Jyotiba Phule Praja Bhavan, 601 petitions were filed at the Prajavani programme. The state government hosts a weekly meeting in hyderabad where members of the public may address authorities, including the chief minister, directly and voice their concerns.
The applications that were received in hyderabad on tuesday addressed a wide range of topics from several government agencies. The departments of Consumer Affairs, Food, and Civil Supplies reported 87 complaints, while the telangana Revenue department got 142 applications. In a similar vein, panchayat raj and Rural Development dealt with 52 issues, and Municipal Administration and Urban Development received 53 complaints.
