Why Anirudh and not AR Rahman for 'Indian 2' ?

The soundtrack for "Indian," which was released in 1996, about thirty years ago, was created by A R Rahman. On a pan-Indian scale, songs like Telephone Dhwani La, Maaya Maschindra, Pachchani Chilukalu, and Adireti songs were enormous hits. shankar claims that practicality and artistic taste were the main factors in the choice of Anirudh over AR rahman for the soundtrack of indian 2.

AR rahman has already made commitments to other initiatives, such as the 2.0 BGM. S Shankar, the director, decided against piling on further duties for rahman since he wanted the songs for indian 2 delivered on time. In addition, shankar thought Anirudh's broad appeal and musical taste would fit in nicely with the story of the movie and the modern audience.

This had an impact on his choice to work with Anirudh on indian 2. While reactions to indian 2's soundtrack have been conflicting thus far, there is hope that the songs will become more well-known when the movie opens and viewers hear them inside the narrative. Anirudh's background score, which is anticipated to enhance the movie's cinematic impact beyond only its songs, is especially highly anticipated. Let's wait and see!
