Telangana - Death benefit for advocates increased

The telangana State Bar Council has made the decision to increase the amount of money given to the families of lawyers who have passed away from Rs 4 lakh to Rs 6 lakh. According to Bar Council chairman A narasimha reddy, this judgement would assist give the nominees of dead advocates, who can access this money under Section 16(2) of the Advocates Welfare money Act, additional support.
 
Reddy said that advocates who departed on or after July 1st will be eligible for the increased payment. Additionally, it was disclosed that the benefit will only be granted to advocates who are members of the telangana Bar Council's State Welfare Fund.

Telangana's Bar Council has opted to raise the death claim amount for departed attorneys from Rs. 4 lakh to Rs. 6 lakh. The telangana Bar Council Chairman, A. narasimha reddy, said that the candidates of attorneys who departed on or after July 1 will be eligible to get the augmentation. The benefit would be available to attorneys who are members of the State Welfare Fund, which is run by the telangana Bar Council, according to Nagalakshmi, secretary.
