Aswini Dutt said NO to Pawan Kalyan's Offer

With the triumph of his most recent masterpiece, kalki 2898 AD, aswini Dutt is thriving. He is expressing his delight and doing interviews with different media outlets. In one of the interviews, he said that PK recommended a North indian ticket pricing model of 1000 to 1500 per ticket for kalki 2898 AD when telugu producers met with the newly appointed deputy cm Pawan Kalyan.

According to aswini Dutt, they abandoned the initiative because they believed telugu states would not accept it. Speaking of exorbitant rates, tickets for some multiplexes that provide luxury, experience, and ambience can cost as much as ₹1000, ₹1500, or even above ₹2000 in places like delhi and Mumbai.

But the situation of the theatres in the telugu states, particularly in Andhra, is bad. No matter who stars in the film or who directed it, no one will pay these kinds of sums of money. If the prices were so expensive, even movie buffs would quit going. Audiences are already being driven to pirated websites or waiting for OTT releases by the present ticket rates, which are ₹300. The cost range of ₹1000–₹1500 is unsustainable, even for the best multiplexes in Hyderabad.

Even if deputy chief minister Pawan kalyan has a strong passion for films, he must realise that films used to be the least expensive kind of entertainment. To attract more producers to invest in large-scale event films, a fair price increase is required, not ₹1000–₹1500 per ticket. For high-budget films like kalki 2898 AD, ticket increases would be required, but even for epic films, Pawan Kalyan's recommended costs will keep people out of theatres.
