Raids conducted at hotels in Hyderabad - Violations Found

On Saturday, a task force team from Telangana's Food Safety Department raided hotels in Hyderabad. The raids turned up a lot of infractions.
 

Raids at hotels in Hyderabad’s Kukatpally

It was discovered that frozen chicken at Jampana's Vaarahi Hotel, which is situated near kukatpally Y Junction, was not kept at the temperature specified on its label.
 
Additionally, it was discovered that food workers were not using aprons, gloves, or hats. Additionally lacking were pest control documents for the property and medical fitness certifications for food workers.

Water stagnation and unsanitary conditions were discovered in the kitchen section of Shree raghavendra Bhavan, which is also situated in Kukatpally. It was also discovered that several of the food workers were not using aprons, gloves, or hats.

Additionally, the medical fitness certificates for food handlers and pest control records for the premises were not available.


Inspection at Balanagar

A raid took place at the Sri lakshmi Grand Udupi Hotel in Balanagar, Hyderabad.
 
Carrots were discovered to be rotting and damaged during the raid. There were packaged, ready-to-cook paratha that had no label.
 
It was also discovered that the FBO was not using a current license.
 
Violations persist even as the task team is conducting searches at Hyderabadi hotels, PGs, and manufacturing facilities.
