Arvind kejriwal was recently arrested in the same case by the cbi officers who took him to the cbi headquarters and conducted an investigation.

A delhi court has ordered delhi Chief minister arvind kejriwal to be remanded in judicial custody till July 12 in the liquor policy case.


Mr kejriwal was first arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on march 21 over money laundering allegations while framing the delhi liquor policy for 2021-22, which was later scrapped after the Lieutenant governor raised red flags. The ED has alleged the money Mr kejriwal got from the liquor sellers was used to fund the party's campaign in goa since he is the convenor of the AAP.

Mr kejriwal and the aam aadmi party (AAP) have from the start maintained the Centre has been misusing its agencies to harass the Opposition with false cases.


The Enforcement Directorate and the cbi registered cases of money changing hands in the delhi liquor policy change case. arvind kejriwal, who was already arrested by the enforcement department in this case, was lodged in Tihar Jail.


The cbi officers who recently arrested him in the same case took him to the cbi head office and interrogated him. In this context, the delhi court had given 3 days for the cbi investigation.

He was produced before Delhi's Rose Avenue court after a 3-day trial. Then the CBI sought an extension of custody. Subsequently, the delhi court extended the judicial custody till July 12. arvind kejriwal was later jailed again in Tihar Jail
