Kalki 2898 AD - More than 1 Million Tickets Sold for Prabhas movie

On its first day of release, "Kalki 2898 AD" became the first indian movie of the year to sell more than a million tickets. Pre-sale revenue for the movie, which stars prabhas and deepika padukone in the major roles, has already exceeded Rs 37 crore. With one day till its premiere, the Nag Ashwin-directed film is predicted to earn Rs 50 crore gross from advance sales, according to a report that was posted on the trade website sacnilk.
 

It's interesting to note that with its pre-sales activity on opening day, "Kalki 2898 AD" has already broken all previous records in Hyderabad. A total of Rs 14 crore has been made by the movie, making it the first, and already Rs 2 crore more than 'Salaar', the movie with the largest opening day advance sales in the city to date.
 
With Disha Patani, Kamal Haasan, and amitabh bachchan among its co-stars, the film has grossed a total of Rs 37.25 crore from ticket sales across the nation. With over 11 lakh tickets sold on the first day, the telugu market is leading the way in advance booking, bringing in over Rs 31.55 crore in revenue. Pre-sales for the hindi version of the movie are outperforming those of "Salaar-Part I: Ceasefire," which is encouraging for the movie.
