On september 6, kangana Ranaut's next movie, "Emergency," is scheduled to open in cinemas. The actor released a new poster announcing the same. The well-known actor declared last month in May that the movie will be delayed because she campaigned for the Lok Sabha.

Following her triumph, she is getting ready for her much-awaited historical political drama to be released on september 6, 2024. The actor announced the major update on instagram and wrote, “The Beginning of the 50th Year of Independent India’s Darkest Chapter, Announcing #KanganaRanaut’s #Emergency In Cinemas on 6th september 2024. The Explosive Saga of The Most Controversial episode of The history of indian Democracy (sic).”

'Emergency', a big-budget portrayal of one of the most contentious moments in indian democratic history, is supported by Zed Studios and manikarnika Films. The protagonist of the tale is Indira Gandhi, the first female prime minister of india and one of the most iconic figures in history.
"I am deeply inspired by William Shakespeare's Macbeth, the essence of Emergency is the destruction wrought when ambition goes unchecked by moral constraints," kangana stated in a press release about the movie. "It is undoubtedly the most sensational chapter of indian democracy and I am eagerly awaiting its worldwide release on september 6, 2024," she continued.
