Pooja Hegde says "I am Shy & Reserved..."

SIBY JEYYA
How difficult is it to be an actress in today’s time where anyone with a smartphone can troll you?

It's undoubtedly challenging. On the other hand, there is a lot of positive on social media in addition to the hate. Every day, I get so much love from my fans, and I sincerely appreciate it. I make an effort to spread love and optimism via my social media accounts.

How do you maintain your dignity in a world where rumors fly thick and fast?
It's an occupational danger, to be honest. It is an essential component of the work that we perform. The public is always aware of our industry. It is crucial to keep in mind that you do not have to respond to everything you hear to keep your dignity. Knowing your reality will help you do this.

You mentioned earlier that you were a shy, introverted, and reserved child. How have you changed as a person over the years?

I'm essentially still the same person. Until I'm in my personal space with my closest friends and know that I can be free, I'm still pretty reserved. I think that becoming an actor has benefited me and encouraged me to be more gregarious. To be honest, though, I'm not naturally good at it. I struggle mightily to force myself to step outside of my comfort zone. I hope to improve on it in the upcoming year.

An actor is constantly looking for validation from the outside world.

I do hold myself to a high level for my work, and I make an effort to achieve it before looking to other people for approval. But I also put my amazing fans' enjoyment first and look forward to hearing how they feel about my work. I am very grateful for their love and support.

What kind of roles do you aspire to take up, particularly in hindi cinema?

Parts that challenge me to be the greatest actor I can be and allow me to express myself as an actor. I'm thrilled to play parts that will never cease to astound and delight viewers. roles that pique my interest and allow me to explore aspects of myself that others haven't seen yet. The opportunity to collaborate with outstanding filmmakers is another thing that motivates and inspires me daily. I don't restrict myself to any one genre. I adore films that make us laugh, help us escape, and just plain have a good time just as much as I adore films that delve into compelling people and tap into the emotional heart of what it is to be human.
