When it was first announced, Agent was one of Tollywood's most ambitious flicks. Produced by Anil sunkara and directed by Surender Reddy, the movie was billed as an espionage thriller that would rival james bond flicks. However, on opening day, all aspirations were dashed when Agent turned out to be not only a terrible movie, but among the worst current films ever created. Despite having a massive budget of 90–100 crores, the film failed to make even 10 crores at the box office.
