Telangana - This Govt school gets 650 applications for 250 seats

This siddipet school was obliged to hold a student screening exam, which may be unusual for government schools because 650 applications were received even though there were only 250 available places. On Thursday, 650 pupils showed up for a screening exam that was administered by the Indira nagar Public School's administration in Siddipet.
 

A "No Admissions" sign was put up at the entrance gate a few days ago by the school administration due to the volume of applicants exceeding the maximum of 250.
 
The institution, which has gained recognition in recent years for its excellent teaching methods, has also been yielding the greatest scores in the Class 10 board exam.
 
Each year, 200 pupils are admitted to the school for Class 6. Nonetheless, 300 applications were received for admission to Class 6. The 350 students who applied last time were hoping to get into Classes 70 through 10.

After the screening exam on Thursday, he added, the school will announce a selection list. He also indicated that, for humanitarian reasons, the selection list would give special consideration to orphans, children of single parents, and children from low-income households.
In the most recent academic year, the school passed the Class 10 board test with 99.13 percent of pupils passing; only 231 students failed.

The school has 450 students enrolled full time. Classes 6 and 7 had 200 pupils in four parts, while Classes 8, 9, and 10 had 250 students spread across five sections. Former minister and siddipet MLA T harish rao played a key role in the school obtaining several amenities, producing positive outcomes, and rising to the top of the district's list of sought-after educational institutions.
