Hyderabad in list of best cities for startup ecosystem in Asia

Hyderabad has been listed as one of Asia's top locations for startup ecosystems. Five further indian towns were featured in the list of the top startup ecosystem destinations in the continent by Startup Genome, a US startup research organization, which assessed 300 locations in 100 countries for its "2024 Global Startup Ecosystem Report."
 

The assessment is based on the following five criteria:
1. Performance
2. Funding
3. Talent and experience
4. Market reach
5. Knowledge

Singapore Tops the List

Singapore is the first city on the list of the top 30 Asian cities. It was placed seventh overall.
 
It rose from ninth place in the world in 2023. Before this, the city was ranked 16th, 17th, and 18th in the world in 2020, 2021, and 2022, respectively.
Silicon Valley in the united states tops the worldwide ranking, followed by New York and London, which tied for second place.
