Telangana - IMD Hyderabad issues Rainfall Alert

A yellow signal has been issued by the india Meteorological Department (IMD) in hyderabad due to the expectation of rainfall in several telangana districts. Even in hyderabad, several parts of the city are covered in ominous clouds.
 

IMD hyderabad forecasts rainfall in all zones

All areas of the city are expected to get rain or thundershowers today, along with strong gusts, according to the meteorological service. Rainfall is possible throughout the city through june 13. Additionally, the agency has predicted three days of thunderstorms, lightning, squalls, etc., in several districts of Telangana.

According to the department, Mancherial, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Rajanna Sircilla, Sangareddy, Medak, Siddipet, Vikarabad, Rangareddy, Malkajgiri, Bhuvanagiri, Jangaon, hyderabad, Narayanpet, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, and jogulamba gadwal are likely to see rainfall today.
Tomorrow, apart from the above districts, nirmal will also witness rainfall, IMD hyderabad forecasted.
On june 12, Mancherial, Kamareddy, Sangareddy, Medak, Siddipet, Vikarabad, Rangareddy, Malkajgiri, Bhuvanagiri, Jangaon, hyderabad, Narayanpet, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, jogulamba gadwal, Mahabubabad, and khammam are likely to see downpours.

South West Monsoon

On Sunday, mumbai too saw the southwest monsoon downpour that had earlier than predicted reached telangana areas, including Hyderabad.
The IMD stated that mumbai can expect thunderstorms with heavy to very heavy rainfall, with a probability of realisation between 51 and 75%, after the entrance of the monsoon. It is more likely that nearby places like Raigad and Ratnagiri may have heavy to extremely heavy rains. A red signal has been issued for Kolhapur, the district that data-borders Sindhudurg, indicating that severe to extremely heavy rainfall is expected in most locations.

The IMD has issued a yellow alert for the next three days, even though the monsoon rains are predicted to affect telangana areas, including hyderabad, over the next several months.
