Aditya Sarpotdar is the director of the movie. The movie brought in ₹4 crore on its first day of release. According to early estimates, the movie took in ₹6.75 crore nett on its second day in India. The movie has made about ₹10.75 crore net so far. On saturday, Munjya had a 30.99 percent hindi occupancy rate overall.
Maddock Films, led by Dinesh Vijan, and amar kaushik produced the movie. The movie's first-day gross was revealed on saturday by Maddock Films in an instagram post. "The strength of an engrossing narrative and the genius of computer-generated imagery is demonstrated by this record-breaking box office performance for a movie without any A-list stars. According to a press release, Munjya "has sprung the biggest surprise in the industry, setting the stage for a remarkable box office run."
