Telangana - Coca-Cola to Invest 700 Crores in new Peddapalli plant

The Coca-Cola Company, the largest beverage maker in the world, has announced that it will spend Rs 700 crore through its subsidiary, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd (HCCB), in a new manufacturing plant in the peddapalli district of Telangana.
 
At The Coca-Cola headquarters in Atlanta, United States, Head of Fiscal Policy Jonathan Rief and other officials they informed a visiting group that the locations for the establishment had already been identified, according to The Hindu.
 
Ministers of industries and IT D.Sridhar Babu and R&B and Cinematography Komatireddy venkatreddy were among the delegation members. "The Coca-Cola leadership has confirmed the new plant will be established in the peddapalli district," Mr. sridhar stated in an official statement. With this move, MNCs will move their large-scale manufacturing operations from hyderabad to the State's interior, promoting more dispersed industrial growth following the government's priorities.
 
The ministers promised support from the state government when HCCB CEO Juan Pablo Rodriguez and other executives met with cm Revanth reddy and sridhar Babu earlier this year to discuss plans in Telangana, including a Rs 400 crore greenfield facility. watch out this space for more updates in this regard.
