Ramoji Rao is Not Even his Original Name

The telugu newspaper eenadu was founded by Cherukuri ramoji rao, the Chairman of the Margadarshi Group of Companies, who also serves as its principal editor. He is the owner of companies that include Kalanjali, priya Foods, and Margadarshi Chitfund. The Ramoji group, which ramoji rao created, is the owner of Ramoji Film City, the biggest film studio in the world. The second-highest honor in India, the Padma Vibhushan, was bestowed to him by the government in 2016.
 

Family History: On november 16, 1936, ramoji rao was born in the krishna district's Pedaparupudi. He comes from a family of farmers. Venkata Subbarao is his father, while Venkatasubbamma is his mother. In Palmeru Mandal, Perishepalli village was home to Ramoji Rao's ancestors. Along with his family, his grandpa Ramayya moved to Pedaparupudi from Perishepalli. Thirteen days after the passing of his grandpa, ramoji rao was born. In remembrance of him, his parents called him Ramayya. There are two sisters for him. The younger is called Ranganayakamma, while the elder is called Rajyalakshmi.
 

When he started elementary school, ramoji rao gave himself the name "Ramoji Rao" since he didn't like the name Ramayya for some reason. He went by that name all of his life. ramoji rao enrolled in the eighth standard at Purapal Konnata school in Gudiwada in 1947. He finished his sixth form there in 1957 and attended gudivada college to study Intermedia and B.Sc. Ramadevi, the second child of Tatineni Venkata Subbaiah and Vanidevi of Penamaluru, was married to ramoji rao on august 19, 1961. Tatineni Venkata Krishnarao, the younger brother-in-law of Ramoji Rao's wife, was employed as a director in Margadarshi Chit Funds, while his co-brother, musunuru Apparao eenadu, was employed as the former MD of Dolphins Hotels.
 

"Eenadu" was launched off the coast of Visakhapatnam on august 10, 1974. It became a reader favourite within four years of its release. With eenadu and ETV, he performed a yeoman's service to the telugu people and language. In august of this year, eenadu will have completed 50 years of its existence.
