Rayalaseema, which had supported the congress PARTY' target='_blank' title='ysr congress-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">ysr congress party since the split of united andhra pradesh and the congress party historically till 2014, fully abandoned the Y S jagan Mohan Reddy-led organisation.

49 of the 52 assembly seats in this area were won by the YSRCP in the 2019 elections. Only three seats were won by the TDP: senior politician payyavula Kesav from uravakonda in the Anantapur district, party president N chandrababu naidu from kuppam in Chittoor, and his brother-in-law Nandamuri balakrishna from Hindupur in Anantapur.

For the YSRCP, it was an absolute catastrophe this time. The YSRCP was only able to get seven assembly seats, while the tdp won 45 of the 52 seats in the rayalaseema area.

Peddireddy Ramachandra reddy from Punganur, his cabinet colleague jagan Mohan reddy from Pulivendula, Akepati amarnath reddy from Rajampet, Dasari sudha from Badvel, Y Balanagi reddy from Mantralayam, B Virupakshi from Aluru, and P Dwarakanath reddy from Tamballapalli are the YSRCP leaders who emerged victorious from this region.

In actuality, the YSRCP did not create an account in up to eight of the state's thirteen formerly united districts. The party managed to get a very small number of seats in Visakhapatnam, prakasam, Chittoor, Kurnool, and Kadapa, but not a single seat in any of the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, east Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Nellore, or Anantapur.

It secured two seats in the tribal constituencies of Visakhapatnam's araku valley and paderu assembly constituencies, the districts of prakasam and Darsi, Kurnool's Mantralayam and Aluru, Kadapa's Badwel, Rajampet, and Pulivendula, and Chittoor's Tamballapalle and Punganur.

The YSRCP won just two of the 34 mla seats in the north coastal districts of Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, and Srikakulam; the tdp won the other 32 seats.

The tdp won 53 assembly seats in central and south coastal Andhra, which is home to 55 assembly seats; the YSRCP only managed to win two seats in Prakasam.

The YSRCP's vote percentage in the 2024 assembly elections dropped dramatically from 49.95% in 2019 to 39.37%.

The TDP's vote share increased to 45.60% this time around from 39.17% in 2019. The nda received 55.38% of the vote in the current elections when the vote shares of the bjp and the Jana Sena are taken into consideration.
