Blaming the Defeat on EVMs ?

G GOWTHAM
In each election or competition, there are always going to be winners and losers. A loser needs to be humble in the data-face of defeat, try to find new meaning in life, and figure out how to rise to the top again. In his response to the election results, congress PARTY' target='_blank' title='ysr congress-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">ysr congress party president Y S jagan Mohan reddy stated as much.

He declared, "We're going to stand with the people and fight back with the same bravery."

Even though jagan believed that injustices and frauds had been perpetrated, he said he lacked supporting documentation.

"Only god knows the real story. I am at my limit in what I can do. Still, we are dedicated to doing good. The voice of the voiceless will always be the congress PARTY' target='_blank' title='ysr congress-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">ysr congress party, the speaker declared.

However, the leaders of his party are making up justifications for the party's abject loss. According to reports, senior YSRC figures in Jagan's tight circle have contacted him to demand an explanation. They had paid Mastan Rao's Aaraa organisation a substantial sum of money to conduct the exit surveys.

It is alleged that Mastan Rao, who projected that the YSRC would win with a clear majority, informed them that his forecasts were correct but that there had to have been widespread EVM tampering during the three weeks between vote day and counting day.

It seems that the YSRC leaders were persuaded by this reasoning as well, and they told jagan as much. However, the party is currently unable to take any action.

According to reports, "the party leaders are definitely planning to make it an issue in the coming days."

It's unclear how much of this chatter is true, but it would be preferable if the YSRC leadership disregarded the claim that EVM tampering occurred and devised fresh plans to regain the public's trust in the days ahead. It is at its limit right now!
