How many Muslim candidates won the Lok Sabha polls 2024?

For the third time in a row, the bharatiya janata party will form the federal government. In the lok sabha, the party secured 240 seats, falling 32 seats shy of a simple majority. With the 99 seats it obtained, the congress almost quadrupled its number of seats from 2019. In the lok sabha elections, 15 Muslim candidates became victorious in 543 seats. Among them was Yusuf Pathan, a former cricket player from india, who triumphed over congress veteran adhir ranjan chowdhury in Baharampur.
 

There were 78 Muslim contenders running in the lok sabha elections. There were 115 Muslim candidates running in the 2019 elections.
One Muslim candidate who emerged victorious in the elections was Imran Masood of the congress, who secured the seat of saharanpur with an overwhelming majority of 64,542 votes.
 
The Samajwadi Party's 29-year-old Kairana candidate, Iqra Choudhary, beat pradeep Kumar of the bjp by 69,116 votes.
 

The seat in Ghazipur went to Afzal Ansari.
 
Asaduddin Owaisi, the leader of AIMIM, defeated madhavi latha Kompella of the bjp by a margin of 3,38,087 votes to keep his hyderabad seat.
 
Independent candidate Abdul Rashid Sheikh won the Baramulla seat in kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">jammu and kashmir with 4.7 lakh votes, while Independent candidate Muhammad Haneefa won by a margin of 27,862 votes in Ladakh.
 

With 4,81,503 votes, Mohibbullah of the Samajwadi party won the Rampur seat in Uttar Pradesh, while Zia Ur Rehman won by a margin of 1.2 lakh votes in Sambhal.
In the Anantnag-Rajouri constituency in kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">jammu and kashmir, National Conference candidate Mian Altaf Ahmad defeated former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti by a margin of 2,81,794 votes. Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, the NC candidate in Srinagar, received 3,56,866 votes.
 
First-time contestant Yusuf Pathan defeated six-time mp and lok sabha leader adhir ranjan chowdhury of the congress by 85,022 votes in the West bengal seat of Baharampur.
 
Over 231 seats were gained by the india group, led by the Congress. The National Democratic Alliance, led by the bjp, secured 295 seats.
