LS Elections 2024 - Rahul Gandhi leading in Rae Bareli
On May 20, Rae bareli cast her ballot in the fifth phase. rahul gandhi of the congress, Dinesh Pratap Singh of the bjp, and Thakur Pratap Yadav of the BSP were the three main contenders. On May 20 voter participation was 57.85%.

Bachhrawan, Harchandpur, Rae bareli, Sareni, and Unchahar are the five assembly segments that make up Rae Bareli. 9.59 lakh people were living in bareli in 2019. Of them, roughly 30% were members of Scheduled Castes, 12% were Muslims, 11% were Brahmins, 11% were Rajputs, and 9% were Yadavs.

Senior congress leader sonia gandhi defeated bjp candidate Dinesh Pratap Singh with a vote share of 38.36% (367,740 votes) in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, obtaining a vote share of 55.80% (5,33,687 votes). The senior leader of the congress won by 1,67,848 votes.
