Karnataka election Results: Suspense Ends Soon!!!

Today at eight in the morning is when the lok sabha election of 2024 will start to be counted. With exit polls predicting a majority for the national democratic alliance (NDA), led by the bharatiya janata party (BJP), all eyes are on the karnataka lok sabha results. The bjp is expected to win 23–26 of the 28 lok sabha seats available in karnataka, while the india bloc—which includes the state's ruling Congress—could win 3–7 seats, according to the News18 Mega Exit Poll. The poll predicts that the nda will secure an overwhelming 60% of the vote.

In karnataka, the nda and the india bloc were the two main rival alliances. While the Janata Dal (Secular) party [JD(S)] fielded three candidates, the bulk of the NDA's candidates are from the bjp, numbering twenty-five. In the meantime, the indian national congress (INC) is the party of all 28 candidates running for the india bloc.

Congress Will Reach Double Digits, Says Shivakumar, Not Believing Exit Polls

Deputy chief minister D K Shivakumar of karnataka stated on saturday that he does not trust exit polls and believes the Congress will receive more than ten percent of the vote in the state during the lok sabha elections, though he did not provide an exact number. party leaders, including as Chief minister Siddaramaiah and state congress President Shivakumar, have been asserting that the party will secure 15–20 of the state's 28 seats. "I have previously stated that I don't trust exit polls. I say the same thing today as well. I recently received a call from someone claiming that karnataka networks are indicating that we would only receive two, three, or four seats. We'll receive more than ten, but we'll have to wait and see," Shivakumar informed reporters.
