Following the tuesday Lok Sabha election counting, the karimnagar commissionerate police have placed limits on vehicle movement in the town. Since the counting would take place at SRR government Degree College, police have diverted traffic on jagtial Road to perform the procedure peacefully and prevent any opportunity for untoward situations.

In a statement released on Sunday, Commissioner of police Abhishek Mohanthy stated that cars would not be permitted on the jagtial Road, which passes by SRR College, from 6 a.m. until the counting was over. Cars heading from jagtial to karimnagar would be detoured via Padmanagar, Satavahana university, Rekurthy Crossroads, and Karimnagar.

Automobiles heading from karimnagar to jagtial would be detoured via the court Complex, Jyothinagar, Chemist Bhavan, Satavahana university, and Rekurthy Cross Roads simultaneously. The CP recommended drivers enter the town via Spencer's Road and bank Colony Road Number 1 instead of D Mart Road. A sterile zone has been established along D Mart Road and the stretch of land between Spencer's and the rtc workshop. The CP stated that vehicles of any kind will be permitted to move through this region.
