Restaurant raided in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills - Expired Cheese and Pasta found

On Friday, May 31, the telangana Food Safety Department raided a restaurant called china Bistro in jubilee hills and discovered expired food items such as Scamorza cheese, noodles, rice flour, and white vinegar.
 
"The semi-prepared food goods placed in the refrigerator had labels that were past their use-by dates. As a result, it was immediately eliminated. Mayonnaise sweet sauce, premium dry fruits nutmeg, dry dates, makhana, cloves, and pancake syrup were confiscated for failing to comply with FSSAI labeling standards, according to a press statement from the agency.

It further stated that dustbins were discovered open without adequate covers.
 
"Medical fitness certificates for food handlers and pest control records for the premises are not available from the Food business Operator." The real copy of the FSSAI license was not on display at the premises, according to the department.


 

C𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼
* Expired food articles like Potato Flakes, Scamorza Cheese, Rice Flour, White Vinegar, pasta were discarded on the spot.
* The semi-prepared food articles stored inside the refrigerator were found with labels beyond Use by dates. Hence discarded on the spot.
* Mayonnaise Sweet Sauce, Premium dry fruits Nutmeg, Dry Dates, Makhana, Cloves, Pancake Syrup  were found without following FSSAI labelling regulations and hence seized.
* Dustbins were found open without proper lids.
* Medical Fitness Certificates for Food Handlers and Pest Control Records for the premises not available with the FBO.
* The FSSAI License true c loopy was not displayed at the premises.
