Andhra Pradesh: Two surveys predict clear majority...

Today, 43 days after the first phase of the lok sabha elections on april 19, the polls finally come to an end. andhra pradesh held elections to choose MPs for each of its 25 parliamentary constituencies on May 13. On june 4, 2024, the much-awaited results of these elections are expected to be declared. With the Congress-led india coalition, the nda alliance, and the ruling YSRC party under chief minister Jagan mohan reddy fighting for the people's vote, the andhra pradesh lok sabha election has taken on the characteristics of a triangular contest. Notably, for these elections, the bjp has forged a strategic alliance with the Jana Sena party (JSP), led by Pawan Kalyan, and Chandrababu Naidu's TDP.

All eyes are now on the exit polls as the country anxiously awaits the outcome of the lok sabha election. Political pundits and observers are eager to see if the opposition's india alliance will deflate the bharatiya janata party (BJP) and win a third straight term at the Centre, living up to its catchphrase of "abki baar 400-paar." Many pollsters will be presenting their exit poll forecasts today.

Exit polls are post-election surveys used to determine the general mood of the electorate and forecast the number of seats that each political party is expected to win. Exit polls should not be confused with the official election results, which the election commission of india will announce on june 4. Exit poll releases are tightly controlled; the election commission forbids their publication between the hours of 7 a.m. on april 19 and 6:30 p.m. on june 1, 2024. After the polls close on june 1 at 6:30 p.m., media outlets will be permitted to release the results of their exit polls to the general public.
