State govt makes elaborate preparation to celebrate Telangana Formation Day

The state administration intends to organize major decennial festivities for telangana Formation Day. Several cultural activities will take place throughout the day on june 2.      
 
Chief minister A revanth reddy will pay floral tributes to telangana martyrs who gave their lives for the cause of telangana state at the Martyrs Memorial at Gun Park at 9:30 a.m. The chief minister will thereafter go to the secunderabad Parade Grounds at 10 a.m. to unfurl the national flag. He will also be given a guard of honor by the state police. He will also unveil the state anthem on the occasion.  

As part of the celebrations, cm Revanth and sonia gandhi will address a crowd, followed by the distribution of prizes to the top performing police personnel and contingents.
 
The Tank Bund celebrations will resume in the evening with a brilliant display. The location will have handloom and specialty product vendors, as well as food courts serving telangana cuisine.    
 
The chief minister will come to Tank Bund around 6:30 p.m. and visit the vendors. He will launch a cultural festival to exhibit Telangana's culture and various art forms. Around 700 artists will take part in the cultural activities. A unique series of cultural dance performances has also been planned for the Tank Bund.
 

Following the event, a large flag walk with national flags will be conducted on the Tank Bund. Approximately 5,000 individuals are scheduled to participate in the walk. During the flag walk, the entire version of the state anthem "Jaya Jayahe Telangana" will be played for 13.5 minutes. revanth reddy will honor telangana poet Ande Sri, who wrote the song, and music director MM Keeravani, who created the music for it.
 

 The celebrations will conclude at 8:50 pm with a huge display of fireworks for 10 minutes on the skyline of Hussain Sagar.
