The Congress's high leadership requested that she submit a report on the likely outcomes of the state's assembly and lok sabha elections based on feedback from party sources around the state.

According to sources, sharmila forwarded the assessment to the high command, showing that the YSRCP, led by jagan Mohan Reddy, had an advantage in the polls over the National Democratic Alliance, led by the telugu Desam Party.
