Why Reddys are against YSRCP?

SIBY JEYYA
For decades, it was usual in several key areas of andhra pradesh that a kamma vote would not go to congress and a reddy vote would not go to the TDP.

However, for the first time in history, particularly in Palnadu, Nellore, Chittoor, and a few other regions, 40-50% of Reddys voted against the YCP. Of course, wherever the tdp candidate was reddy, people sided with him.

The causes can be ascribed to an anti-incumbency attitude against MLAs, not enabling local Reddys to exercise their authority in the past five years, or not receiving any advantages from the ruling government as predicted or hoped for.

The causes might be varied. Unless jagan Mohan reddy analyses these issues, it would be bad to the party in the long term.

The kamma community has been supporting chandrababu naidu for decades, maintaining his supremacy. Losing support from one's own community is the greatest disadvantage for any politician.

It is not required to raise only the same group like Chandrababu did, but it is also not prudent to ignore one's own community in order to uplift others.

"Unless jagan Mohan reddy values the Reddys who are backing him, his political future wouldn't be a cakewalk," say a few in Andhra Pradesh.
