Hyderabad: Activists Want Action on Weak Trees
Two persons were killed when a tree collapsed on them while riding motorcycles in Kesara during heavy rain and severe winds. The fatalities were identified as Nagi reddy Ram reddy, 56, and the pillion rider, Danunjay, 42, both from Bommalaramaram village. The disaster happened as they approached Venugopal Swamy Road in Thimmaipally, when a tree was uprooted by high winds and crashed on the passing bicyclists.
Another pillion rider, Dhanunjay of Bommalaramaram hamlet, suffered critical injuries and was proclaimed dead. police arrived to the location and began an investigation.
