The gambling zone in Gujarat's rajkot, where a horrific fire killed more than 20 people on saturday, did not have a No Objective Certificate (NOC) from the fire department, officials said. According to the information provided, the gaming zone had just one way for admission and departure. Furthermore, hundreds of gallons of fuel and diesel were stashed in various areas of the zone. This led the fire to spread quickly, destroying the whole structure.
So far, 27 individuals have been reported deceased, including nine children. The remains have been burnt beyond recognition, and dna samples from victims and families have been obtained for identification, according to members of the Special Investigation Team (SIT).
