Hyderabad to get AI City spread on 200 acres of land along ORR

Hyderabad will soon have an AI City along the Outer Ring Road (ORR) to help develop India's artificial intelligence ecosystem. According to a story published in DC, authorities from telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) have identified 200 acres of land in Maheshwaram, Serilingampally, Chevella, and Ibrahimpatnam mandals for the AI City that would house the ecosystem.
 

Land allotment for AI City along ORR in hyderabad is awaited

Though the TGIIC authorities have chosen land, the allocation is expected to be authorized at the next cabinet meeting in June.
 
There is also a plan to create the state's first Skill university in the same area. The university will be sprawled across 100 acres of land.
Telangana chief minister A revanth reddy is also likely to lay the groundwork for the projected AI City and Skill university in hyderabad, in conjunction with ORR, before the 'Golabl AI Summit' in July.

UP’s plan

Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh government announced the establishment of the AI City in Lucknow.
 
However, it is being built in lucknow on 40 acres of land, but the projected AI City in hyderabad would be on 200 acres of land along the ORR.
 
Lucknow's AI City is projected to be finished in 2030, while the AI City near ORR is scheduled for completion in 2028.
 
The government hopes to make hyderabad the 'AI capita of India'
