Manisha Koirala Recalls Being Abandoned By Close Friends, Family After Cancer Diagnosis

In an interview, manisha koirala said that she had significant relationship realisations as a result of her cancer struggle. The gifted actress revealed that only her close family helped her get through the difficult days while she was unwell, with the people she had previously relied on deserting her. Manisha also disclosed that her extended family did not come see her when she was battling illness, even though they were wealthy. She sought treatment as a result of this incident, which was quite helpful.

Manisha discussed how the experience has changed her connections with friends and family in an interview with NDTV. “It’s been a journey,” she said. It's been a teaching moment as well. I genuinely thought I had a lot of pals. I believed that by going out together, travelling together, and having fun together, people would support me through my suffering. That was untrue. Individuals are incapable of bearing even their own suffering, much less that of others. We always look for strategies to avoid experiencing pain. We wish to get away from suffering. Human nature is like that. Only my close family was present when I discovered how lonely I had become.

To accentuate the trustworthiness of her close relatives, Manisha said, "I also have a huge Koirala khandaan." There was nobody present. Everyone in my large family is well-off and able to buy it. However, it was my brother, my parents, and my brother's spouse that were involved. That concludes our discussion. And I recognised that these are the individuals who will be with me after everyone else goes. No matter what, my immediate family comes first. In my life, they come first, followed by everyone else.
