After winning the coveted Padma Vibhushan award yesterday, megastar chiranjeevi just got back from Delhi. Following his arrival in Hyderabad, chiru met with members of the media. He was questioned about his political position for these elections at this encounter. chiru stated that he has no affiliation with any party for these elections when asked which one he is supporting. It has been speculated over the last several weeks that he may run in the pithapuram constituency on behalf of his brother Pawan Kalyan.
Chiru did, however, clarify that he would not be visiting Pithapuram. He said that Kalyanan Babu had never sought him for my support and had always left it up to me. chiru continued, saying that even when pawan kalyan is not actively involved in politics, he will always have his back. He said that this is the reason behind the video he posted a few days ago urging pithapuram residents to support Kalyan.
"My brother's political career is something our family members have always hoped for," chiru continued. chiru said "no" when asked if he was still in congress at that time. chiranjeevi addressed all of the inquiries about his political position that had been making the rounds in the media at this news conference.
