Congress's Amethi office attacked, cars vandalized - 'BJP goons' blamed

In Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, an attack occurred on sunday night at approximately midnight on the congress headquarters. Numerous cars that were parked outside were vandalised by unknown miscreants who then caused havoc and left the area. After racing to the site, police took notice of the situation and opened an inquiry. Based on a complaint, a case has been filed against unidentified individuals.

Congress, meanwhile, has blamed the "BJP goons" for the attack.
Taking to X, congress shared a video which showed car windows smashed and its glass pieces lying scattered on the ground. The party blamed the bjp for resorting to violence, fearing defeat in Amethi. They also mentioned Smriti Irani, BJP's lok sabha Amethi candidate.
 

"BJP thugs, frustrated with the setback they saw, broke through the doors of the congress office in Amethi and vandalised parked cars. They were armed with sticks and rods. Amethi citizens and employees of congress have been the target of a horrific attack. This incident has left several individuals with serious injuries. local residents' automobiles also sustained damage during the event. Throughout the entire event, the police administration did nothing but watch silently. This episode is proof that the bjp would lose heavily in Amethi, according to the congress article, which was loosely translated from Hindi.
 

Party leader supriya Shrinate also rebuked the incident, blaming the bjp of "hooliganism".
"Vehicles parked outside the congress office in Amethi were vandalised The police remained a silent spectator and the bjp workers continued with their hooliganism. The wind has changed, breaking vehicles will not solve the problem, bjp people," her post, roughly translated from Hindi, read.
